The word humanities names a group of unique disciplines that share one common goal: to understand the human spirit. Humanities faculty study language and culture. Where science gathers data, the humanities looks for beauty, value, and meaning. When you study the humanities at Snow College, you can learn a foreign language, read a novel, write a poem.
